EXPERIENCE

Step 1

To provide the best possible fit for our customers, we develop custom
molds for our gloves.
These molds are designed to accommodate a variety of hand sizes and
shapes, ensuring optimal comfort and performance.

A variety of hand sizes and shapes:

Hands vary greatly in terms of overall size, finger length, and palm
thickness. Japanese hands, on average, exhibit narrower fingers,
thinner palms, and a more rounded form when compared to those
of people from Western countries.

Step 1.1

Making a pattern

Glove patterns are developed through meticulous measurements of a diverse
sample population.
By analyzing average dimensions and considering variations in finger length,
thickness, and dorsal hand height, patterns are iteratively refined to achieve
optimal fit across a broad spectrum of hand morphologies.

Step 1.2

Making a Casting mold

Molds are created based on patterns to replicate the
three-dimensional shape of a glove.
Constructed from durable materials in a foundry,
these molds are designed to facilitate mass
production.

Step 1.3

Fabric cutting

Fabric pieces

Step 2

Comfort of wear: If seams rub against the skin or the fabric pulls,
the comfort of wear deteriorates.
Careful stitching can significantly extend the lifespan of gloves.
The appearance of gloves is greatly influenced by the neatness and
beauty of their stitching.

Sewing thick fabric
Sewn the thumb part of the glove
Sew the small parts of the finger
All the different parts are put together to make into gloves

Step 2.1

Selecting needles based
on the type of fabric.

The number indicates the thickness
of the needle, with smaller numbers
corresponding to thinner needles.

Lightweight fabric for spring and summer.
#9 for lightweight fabrics.
Thick fabric for autumn and winter
#11 is used normally

Step 2.2

Choosing the right thread
for the fabric.

#30 thread is primarily used for handsewing and is not often used for sewing machine
#60 thread is primarily used for lockstitching sewing machine and is also used for shirring and decoration stich sewing machine
#80 thread is primarily used in double stitch sewing machine

Step 2.3

Types and strength of stitches

The durability and comfort of gloves are greatly influenced by various factors. For example, overlock stitching
securely encases the edges of the fabric, preventing fraying and enhancing durability. Double stitching,
which involves sewing over the seam twice, increases strength and is particularly suitable for areas prone to
wear and tear. On the other hand, single stitching offers greater flexibility and is ideal for designs that
prioritize ease of movement. Shirring is commonly used at the cuffs of gloves to improve the fitting.
It fits tightly around the wrist and prevents cold air from entering.
The choice of stitching technique significantly affects the fitting and durability of gloves,
making it essential to select the appropriate method based on the intended use.

Step 2.4

delicate decoration

Importance of balance: The balance between materials and decoration determines the overall impression
of gloves.
For example, gloves with a simple design and modest decoration can bring out an elegant impression.
On the other hand, gloves with striking design and bold decoration can make them stand out.

Step 2.5

Handcrafted by artisans

Our artisans handcraft each piece, carefully attaching ribbons and beads with meticulous attention to detail.
This handcrafted approach ensures that every glove is unique and imbued with warmth. Furthemore,
it is important that the beads are attached tightly so that it will not fall off easily.

Step 3

Understanding the
characteristics of the material,
and carefully finish by hand in an
appropriate way by the artisan

Our artisans, with years of experience and intuition, have a deep
understanding of the characteristics of various materials.
They adjust the temperature and steam of the iron according to the
condition of each material, ensuring a perfect finish for every glove.

Step 3.4

Finishing

Steaming finishing: Due to steaming, the wool fiber softens and enhances the fabric's texture.
This process also removes excess oil and leaves the fabric clean

Step 3.5

Drying

Step 3.6

Labeling

Step 4.1

Material selection

Because gloves come into direct contact with the skin,
we pay meticulous attention to the materials we use.
We strive to find the unique qualities of each material such as the softness, heat retaining cashmere and wool,
or the silky sheen and suppleness of silk, by carefully selecting complementary materials.
When selecting materials, we consider not only aesthetic appeal but also functionality for different seasons
and purposes. For example, we use high heat retention materials for winter gloves and breathable materials
for spring and summer gloves to meet the diverse needs of our customers.
